[WI] Officer Ferencevich facing domestic charges that include gun use

Minocqua Police Officer Mark Ferencevich is facing charges of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct/domestic abuse. Ferencevich, who is now on administrative leave, has been employed at the Minocqua Police Department since 2010. Minocqua Police Chief Andrew Gee isn't sharing details. I'm opting to not post Officer Ferencevich's picture.

Such a liar and conniver. You hurried up and made a deal with the court before trial because you knew that you were guilty and because you didn't want the details of the domestic to come to light. You didn't want it on your record that you were handling a gun drunk or that you are abusive so you were allowed to wheel and deal with the disposition of your clear crimes.

If the charges were lies you would not have to do the 30 hours of community service that you agreed to. If the charges were lies you would not have to go to an alcohol assessment and you would not have bargained by pleading guilty to lesser charges. But you win. In a year if you jump through the hoops then you get to have your crimes wiped from the courts records. (But can you wipe them from the internet?)

And it seems in your little comment you forgot to mention you are fired come august 17. Buh-bye. You ARE the weakest link. Why twist and hide the truth? Because that is what liars do. The police arrested you for having a loaded gun while you were drunk because police love to arrest each other? No one believes that. You are getting away with your crimes - crimes that should ban you from the law enforcement profession - and will probably take your drunk self to another little police department.

Luckily with a name like Ferencevich you shouldn't be hard to find.

    1. just where do you get your information - you know it all? Apparently you know nothing - your commenets are so far from the truth, you should write fiction stories for a living. I happen to know the WHOLE story -straight from everyone's mouth - there was no domestic ANYTHING - "oh you're home" and "goodnight" were the only words exchanged. Why don't you call the supposed victim and ask her yourself? I know her personally - she was sleeping and disoriented- recanted everything - barely even remembers what happened.
It is election year and apparently someone running for office again needed to look like he was actually doing his job - great publicity stunt - at some innnocent officer's expense

    2. This story was so blown out of proportion and sensationalized - I'd like to call 20/20 or some other major broadcasting show - to blow this fictitious nightmare wide open. I have never imagined that a police officer could be so used and victimized. I'd like to see a real investigator show the public what a farce some police departments really are. The motive behind the scenes for this whole ordeal should be exposed

    3. Officer is totally innocent- this story never should have reached this website. Get your facts straight - especially Anonymous2. Check it out and come back here and apologize for your stereotypical judgmental self-righteous opinions

    4. I would like to comment on this myself, as the officer involved. Anon 2 is obviously using the stories from the news to make her points. All the of news stories are based on what my wife thought was going on after she woke up. I did not give my side of the story to the news or the police because I was told to not say anything by my union rep. My wife had left my bedroom because I had turned on the tv and she wanted to sleep. After she left the room I noticed my gun belt was next to my bed, and hadn't been cleared of rounds. I decided to unload (rack)the gun, as we have children in the home and they like to come and snuggle with us in the morning. Unbeknownst to me this frightened Kim, who had gone elsewhere to sleep. I had no clue she heard me put the gun away...that's it...there is no more to this. I apologized to her for accidentally scaring her and she apologized for not asking me what I had been doing. Once the DA found out what happened, he realized this was nothing more than a mistake. I wasn't waving or pointing a gun at my wife, or threatening her in any way. In fact I was in a separate room with the door closed. So anonymous 2, leave my wife and I alone as we move forward from this unfortunate incident!

It is clear we may know you, but it is even more clear that you don't know us. Mark never hurried up to make a deal. We were SET to go. We would NOT accept any deal other than one that cleared his name. Please--30 hours--if the DA felt he was truly guilty, he would have wanted more hours than that. We had already done the counseling, and as I had told the officers that night, and anytime after that Mark does not drink that much and that often. So SURPRISE the ETOH assessment came back that he didn't need to do anything further. The night was one big mistake after another. I have said my apologies to those that matter for my part, Mark has said his for his part. Mark is a very generous man. He has given so much to so many, including me and my children. He has accepted me and all my craziness, and I have accepted his. Every couple has issues, most of the time these are not made so public. It is unfortunate that it happened, but I am happy because it has made us a stronger couple, and ready for the next chapter of our lives. I am very sorry though to the person that did right the original message. I am very sad for you to have all the time in the world to sit around and point fingers at people. Maybe the next time you point that finger it should be at the mirror. Until you and your life is PERFECT, I would not be so quick to judge others.

      Kim

  3. Mr. Ferencevich agreed to 30 hrs of community service for being disorderly by continually turning on his television, which disturbed his live in girlfriend. Ask his wife if she thinks he is guilty...! This incident happened in Feb.and settled in July...how is that a hurried deal? Come forward and identify yourself you pathetic coward.

HILARIOUS. 30 hrs of community service for turning on your tv. PSYCHO-liar. That makes no sense. And most of the women I've read about do recant because the cop faces losing his job. That is so weak: "she was sleeping and disoriented- recanted."
