[Excerpts] Sheriff John Montgomery on Tuesday suspended the Baxter County Reserve Deputy program's commander Brian Keith Rowe after he was arrested by Mountain Home police for domestic battery... Mountain Home officers Jonathan Griffin and Mychal Warno answered a call to a domestic incident at an East Ninth Street address at 10 p.m. Monday, involving Rowe and two family members, one a juvenile. Warno said he observed a cut on the juvenile's head and took photographs. Warno said Rowe was advised of and signed a temporary no-contact order in connection with his arrest. The charge brought against Rowe alleges that a person causes physical injury to a family or household member, according to city police Lt. Eric Neal...     Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery terminated the employment of Brian Keith Rowe, 40, Wednesday morning. Rowe had been on suspension as commander of the county's reserve deputy program since mid-August when he was arrested by Mountain Home police on a domestic battery charge.

    Tuesday, Rowe entered a plea of no contest in Baxter County District Court to the misdemeanor charge of domestic battery in the third degree.
