[OK] Between the lines does Trooper Henry get to keep his job?

Since he can't be a cop if he's convicted of domestic violece, what this article appears to not say is that if the trooper completes the court's requirements - not only will he not have to serve his deferred sentence, but he will ALSO have the crime wiped from his records. At least that's how it appears here.

Trooper pleads in assault case

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor simple assault charge stemming from an altercation with his live-in girlfriend. According to court records, 33-year-old Jason Wayne Henry received a 60-day deferred sentence Friday in Logan County District Court. Henry, who is assigned to Logan County, has been on administrative leave with pay. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. Chris West said Henry won't be working while serving his deferred sentence. Special prosecutor George Burnett said before the sentencing he required Henry to have domestic violence and substance abuse evaluations and complete an anger management class... [Full article here]
