NORWALK - Four city police officers were honored yesterday for their ability to stay calm and to peacefully end what could have been a violent standoff on May 5. Michael Silva, George Daley, David Vetare and Garrett Kruger were recognized as officers of the month and were awarded the Distinguished Service Award at yesterday's police commission meeting...
