[PA] Officer Eckert never held accountable for domestic violence

Lancaster Police Officer Kenneth Eckert was charged and suspended last March for a sexual attack on his roommate's girlfriend.
Lancaster Mayor Rick Gray then said, "Police officers are human beings. From time to time, people do things that are inappropriate."
Yesterday news says he's pleading guilty to indecent assault, fined $300, on probation for 2 years, to undergo a drug & alcohol evaluation, and a sex-offender evaluation.

There was no mention of his former girlfriend who had a protection order against him - his on-duty sexual and physical attacks against her, or the fact that his department opted to not even investigate it.

Last year Chief John Rochat said, "I'm unaware of anything of a criminal nature which occurred in Millersville. We are not currently conducting any additional investigations."

He has resigned, his department says, in the last few months.
